Marty Dibble

Marty Dibble

Marty Dibble, 74, of Albion, passed away at his residence on Sunday, October 28, 2018.  Marty was born in North Girard, PA, on April 28, 1944, a son of the late Vincent and Mary (Bartko) Dibble.  Marty worked in receiving at American Sterilizer (Steris) for 28 years.  He was a lifetime member of the Cranesville VFD.   Marty was also a member of the 832 Local Union and he loved hunting and NASCAR.  In addition to his parents, Marty was preceded in death by his wife, Rachel Jeannette Dibble, a sister, Delores Sedler and her husband, Bob, and a brother, Bob Dibble.  He is survived by a son, Stephen Dibble and his wife, Karen, of Cranesville, a daughter, Stacy Jo Sherman and her husband, Richard, of Cranesville, two brothers, Harry Dibble and his wife, Shirley, and Vincent Dibble, three sisters, Betty Wagner and her husband, Jim, Alice Nelson and her husband, George, and Norma Garlick and her husband, Phil, a sister-in-law, Ellie Dibble, six grandchildren, Nic Casbohm and his wife, Brandi, Sawyer Sherman, Crystal Bostaph and her husband, David, and Mya Dibble.  Calling hours will be held at the Mattera Funeral Home, 188 East State Street, Albion, on Wednesday from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.  A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Abe Edwards officiating.  Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Cranesville Fire Department at 9920 Meadville Street, Cranesville, PA, 16410.  To send flowers, light a memory candle or leave a condolence, please visit www.matterafuneralhome.com

So sorry for your loss. I remember going to grandma dibbles ice skating and hanging out while our parents played cards at Norma and Phil’s we’d walk back and forth Marty would always say you kids should be tired nope more candy and soda.

Always had fun cooking breakfast with Marty at firehall he was a good officer in the fire department so sorry for your loss
