Shane Michael Bambarger, 27, of Albion, passed away Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. He was born October 18, 1990 in Colorado Springs, CO, a son of Donald Jr. and Linda (Good) Bambarger of Albion. Shane graduated from Fort LeBoeuf High School and worked as lead material handler for C&J Industries in Meadville. Shane was a really good wrestler, and was invited to travel with the Ohio All Star Wrestling Team in 2003. He was an avid fan of NCAA wrestling, he loved Penn State, the Minnesota Vikings and the Minnesota Twins. Shane had the biggest heart, and he would talk to you for hours about anything related to sports. He was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Bambarger III. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his paternal grandparents, Donald Bambarger Sr. and his wife, Lola, of Conneaut, OH, his maternal grandparents, Ted Good and his wife, Daphne, of Colorado Springs, CO, a daughter, Harper, of Morrisville, NC, two sisters, Shemaine Bambarger of St. Louis, MO, Ashley Bambarger of Albion, and a brother, Cody Bambarger of Albion. Shane was also loved by his many aunts, uncles and cousins. Memorial calling hours will be held at the Mattera Funeral Home, 188 East State Street, Albion, on Tuesday from 6pm until the time of a memorial service there at 8pm with Pastor Allan Thorpe officiating. Burial will be private by the family. Memorials may be made in honor of Shane to any local youth wrestling club.
